Continuous electrical dry roasters
Very different from drum roasters or hot air systems, REVTECH continuous roasters are based on simple and smart principles:
- Transport & mixing in a closed spiral tube by vibrations,
- Heating by direct contact with an electrical impedance tube.

The main caracteristics are as follows:

Temperature between 50°C to over 300°C,

Residence time between 3 and 40 minutes,

Customized continuous roasters with flow rates ranging from 300 kg/h up to 5 000 kg/h,

A wide range of product can thus be roasted or toasted like almonds, cashew nuts, pistachios, hazelnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, wheat, barley, tea, spices, …

Pasteurization is ensured during roasting
|
Due to its unique configuration, the REVTECH roasters can ensure the pasteurization of the product during its roasting - which guarantees eradication of all pathogens: Salmonella, E. coli, yeasts, moulds...
This pasteurization can be validated for each unit by an independent laboratory following a given test protocol (for instance the Almond Board of California protocol).

Environmental friendly technology : ~ 90% of the energy transferred to the product (compared to usually less than 30% with traditional roasting systems) and no large amounts of polluted air exhaust the unit (contrary to hot air roasting systems),

No air handling units, fans or ducts are required: costs are reduced and fire risks eliminated,

Low energy consumption, ~ 140 W/kg, which means a complete 1 ton/h unit would consume ~ 140 kW,

Minimal maintenance and easy cleaning.
